Eventide Labradors with Angela and Bevan is a small Labrador kennel located at the base of the Bombay Hills, established in 2006. Angela’s history with Labradors dates back to 1985 when she and her then-husband founded Sandford Labradors in Tuakau. Initially, the focus was on working Labradors, and both Angela and David achieved significant success in gundog trialing at the highest level. Sandford Labradors produced numerous Field Trial Champions, including at least four Grand Champions, and also bred two dual champions titled in both field and show arenas.

Currently, Angela and Bevan place more emphasis on the conformation aspect of breeding and take immense pride in the dogs they breed, whether they excel in the show ring or serve as cherished family pets. Angela and Bevan breed intermittently, mainly when they desire a puppy for themselves. For prospective puppy buyers, this ensures receiving a well-bred Labrador puppy from breeders who strive to produce Labradors with the correct temperament and appearance true to type, suitable for family life or working in the field.

All dogs undergo mandatory testing required for registration as pedigree dogs with Dogs NZ New Zealand. Comprehensive DNA profiles are conducted for hereditary diseases, hips and elbows are x-rayed, and eyes are examined annually.
